Nordnorsk Julesalme

The composer Trygve Hoff (1938-1987) wrote “Nordnorsk Julesalme” (North Norwegian Christmas Psalm) in the mid 80's. It has become a classic and is about to recognized as a national hymn at Christmas time. The song is about "the eternal words" based on "dark land" or the Christmas gospel in the North Norwegian folk religiosity."Bless the day over the fjords. Bless the light over land.
