Hymnus Antverpiae€ 81,00This hymn was commissioned by “Antwerpen 93”. And this city, on the banks of the river Schelde has been nominated “Cultural Capital of Europe” for 1993. The work-group “animatie” took the initiative and commissioned a hymn, which -as the finale to a grand open-air event on 27th March- was premièred by hundreds of musicians from all over Europe.

Romeo and Juliet€ 265,31In deze suite voor harmonieorkest is Johan de Meij niet uitgegaan van de bestaande orkestsuites maar heeft hij een eigen suite samengesteld uit delen van het ballet die zich goed lenen voor een bewerking. Terwille van een goede muzikale spanningsboog opent de suite met een gedeelte uit The Montagues and Capulets dat als leidmotief dient en waarmee de suite tevens besluit.

Pimpanit Karoonyavanich schreef het nieuwe werk gedurende de lockdown als gevolg van de pandemie veroorzaakt door het Covid-19 virus.
