Het werk bestaat uit 4 bewegingen: The Storm, The Graveyard, The Kingdom of Mermaids en The Escape.

Zo verging het ook Jan de Haan, toen hij een muziekstuk voor het Nationaal Jeugd Fanfare Orkest in opdracht kreeg. Het is het orkest waarin hij zelf ooit speelde.
