Duet for flugel & horn. "Rian is an exciting new addition to our concert repertoire. After an expressive first section, the duet embarks on an exciting journey, frolicking through an animated allegro. The concept of a duet of these two underdeveloped instruments is refreshing and the skilful writing of Andrew Duncan will make this work very populair indeed. What I like about is that it sounds more difficult than it is (something most soloists admire in a piece). I imagine two players of Grade VII distinction standard would make a good job of this work.
