Gannochy is a residential area of Perth in Scotland where my mother, Margaret Graham (Stewart), was born and raised.
One of my earliest musical memories was of visits to my grandparents house and of hearing the theme tune to the BBC Radio programme Listen With Mother (a lullaby, which I later found to be called Berceuse from the Dolly Suite by Faure).
A Gannochy Lullaby was written as a little christmas gift for my mother with fond memories of those days in Perth.
