De combinatie van groot symfonisch orkest, vrouwelijke zang met opera invloeden en de ruwe kracht van een Scandinavische metal band was een krachtige mix die me onmiddellijk aantrok.

Pastorale BWV 590€ 131,00Bachs muziek wordt vereerd vanwege haar intellectuele diepgang, technische beheersing en artistieke schoonheid. De Pastorale bestaat uit vier delen en wordt verondersteld te zijn geschreven voor uitvoering tijdens de kerstdiensten in de belangrijkste kerken in Leipzig, waaraan Bach destijds nauw verbonden was. Het werk is daarom vermoedelijk rond 1720 geschreven.
