Yn Ieren en Sinen (vanuit volle overtuiging) is geschreven in opdracht van CMV Harmonie Sneek ter gelegenheid van het 95-jarig jubileum van dat orkest. Op verzoek van de opdrachtgever baseerde de componist het werk op het leven van een oud-lid van de vereniging – een man die tot zijn 86e jaar de bugel bespeelde. Dit werk is ideaal als wedstrijdwerk!
