In de lichte muziek-traditie legt het de nadruk op melodie en tonale harmonie, met veel antifonale passages die elk element van de band in beslag nemen, om zo een leuk stuk te creëren voor zowel de muzikanten als het publiek.

De muziek is net zo imposant als het natuurgeweld zelf - en net zo aangrijpend als de ervaring van de mensen die het meemaken. Earthquake was het verplichte werk voor de hoogste divisie van de Nederlandse Brassbandkampioenschappen 2005.

Melody and counterpoint, accompanied by a peaceful harmony, play a kind of question and answer game in this short composition. The piece is written in a rather ABA form, with the perusiion complementing the whole very effectively.

Hymnus Antverpiae€ 81,00This hymn was commissioned by “Antwerpen 93”. And this city, on the banks of the river Schelde has been nominated “Cultural Capital of Europe” for 1993. The work-group “animatie” took the initiative and commissioned a hymn, which -as the finale to a grand open-air event on 27th March- was premièred by hundreds of musicians from all over Europe.
