Diogenes€ 179,99Met Diogenes componeerde Jacob de Haan een concertwerk waarvan de titel is ontleend aan de filosoof Diogenes, die rond 400 v.Chr. in Griekenland leefde. Diogenes wordt beschouwd als de grondlegger van de Cynische school. De twee hoofdthema’s in deze compositie zijn verwerkt in drie in elkaar overgaande delen, elk met een overgeleverd verhaal over Diogenes als inspiratiebron.

The composer was required to create a suite in three movements based on three images associated with the ‘Sint Martinusfanfare’ from the small town of Halle in the province of Brabant.
