1856€ 138,00In 2016 vierde muziekvereniging Groussbus (Luxemburg) haar 160-jarig jubileum. Begonnen als koor maar later omgezet naar orkest. Om dit te vieren werd Tim Kleren gevraagd een compositie te schrijven.

In 2020 wordt de 250e geboortedag van Ludwig van Beethoven gevierd. De wens van de opdrachtgever was dit gegeven in de compositie tot uitdrukking te brengen.

Bells across the Meadows€ 138,00Bells Across the Meadows is door Ketèlbey in 1921 gecomponeerd voor zowel orkest als piano. Ketelbey noemde het werk een “karakteristiek intermezzo”. De klokken en de muziek worden geassocieerd met de nostalgie van het Engelse platteland uit het Victoriaanse tijdperk.

Jubiloso€ 138,00Jubiloso is een concertouverture die vreugde uitstraalt. Het bestaat uit vier delen. Het eerste deel is een ritmisch allegro, het tweede heeft een pastoraal karakter. Het derde deel is een dans in 7/8 en in het laatste deel komt het beginthema terug in grotere notenwaarden voor een finale vol kleur en kracht.

Journey through the...€ 128,00Commissioned by the Atlanta Freedom Band, Journey through the Stratosphere is a celebratory work comprising two themes. The opening theme is a soaring melody stated by the trumpets with rhythmic ostinati in the winds. As the main theme passes to the winds, the brass picks up the pulse of the piece.

He has been regarded in his homeland as the father of Czech music. Smetana was naturally gifted as a composer, and gave his first public performance at the age of 6.
