Het werk beschrijft het ontstaan van het dorp Heesch; daarnaast heeft de componist de naam 'Aurora' als belangrijke inspiratiebron gebruikt. Het werk staat in het klein repertorium Fanfare, 1e divisie.

Bolero€ 167,00De beroemde Boléro werd in 1928 gecomponeerd als ballet. Een danseres voert op een tafel midden in een Spaanse herberg de Boléro (een Spaanse dans) uit, aangemoedigd door de mannen rondom haar. Het werk is opgebouwd uit twee elkander afwisselende thema's van elk zestien maten in steeds afwisselende instrumentaties.
