‘La Lecon Particulière’, is afkomstig uit de gelijknamige film uit 1968. Het nummer is gecomponeerd door Francis Lai (en gearrangeerd door Christian Gaubert).
Componist Francis Lai (1932 – 2018) werd geroemd om zijn filmmuziek, waaronder Un Homme Et Une Femme (1966) en Love Story (1970), waarmee hij een Oscar voor beste originele muziek in de wacht sleepte. Als accordeonist en songwriter werkte Francis Lai met muziekgrootheden als Edith Piaf en Mireille Mathieu. Hij schreef talloze chansons.
