Fanfare for the Best is een korte compositie die is geïnspireerd door vriendschap en herinneringen aan fijne momenten in goed gezelschap. Ik schreef dit werk ter gelegenheid van de vijftigste verjaardag van mijn vriend Otto M. Schwarz.
