Panic Button€ 110,92Panic Button werd geschreven in opdracht van Bert Van Thienen speciaal voor het Wereld Muziek Concours 2022. De componist kreeg op muzikaal gebied volledige vrijheid, twee voorwaarden krijg hij echter wel mee. Ten eerste moest het een atypisch werk zijn, een compositie die het harmonieorkest in een ander daglicht plaatst dan het traditionele repertoire en geschikt zijn voor zowel concert- als wedstrijdpodia. Ten tweede moest het de muzikanten in de gelegenheid stellen om even volledig los te gaan. Enerzijds om eventuele stress af te schudden en anderzijds om hun energie te geven voor de rest van het programma. Geniet ervan!
