Ferruginous Sandstone€ 91,28In het Kempische dorp Poederlee staat de Heggekapel, het oudste gebouw van Groot-Lille. De naam van dit werk verwijst naar het materiaal waarmee de kapel werd opgetrokken, ijzerzandsteen. Menig inwoner van Poederlee herkent in Ferruginous Sandstone flarden van 'De Poejelse Mol', een hit van een folk- en kleinkunstgroep uit de jaren '70.

SHARDS!€ 70,00SHARDS! was commissioned by Brass Band Pro Rege Heerenveen as their opening work at the WMC World Brass Band Championships 2017.
A shard of glass has a hard surface that reflects light. It also refracts light, giving a kaleidoscopic effect, although its edge can also be sharp as a razor. The musical language in this work represents the hard, sharp and kaleidoscopic features of shards of glass.
