With Celtic drums and the use of the Scottish traditional song ‘An Eriskay Love Lilt’ the piece works very well as a lively concert/2nd half opener or even as a piece to liven up the middle of a concert programme.

Pastorale BWV 590€ 131,00Bachs muziek wordt vereerd vanwege haar intellectuele diepgang, technische beheersing en artistieke schoonheid. De Pastorale bestaat uit vier delen en wordt verondersteld te zijn geschreven voor uitvoering tijdens de kerstdiensten in de belangrijkste kerken in Leipzig, waaraan Bach destijds nauw verbonden was. Het werk is daarom vermoedelijk rond 1720 geschreven.
