Black Saturday€ 100,17'Black Saturday' is de naam van een reeks bosbranden in de Australische staat Victoria op en rond zaterdag 7 februari 2009. Door de extreme weersomstandigheden werd dit de dodelijkste bosbrand ooit in Australië, met 414 gewonden en 173 mensen die het leven lieten tijdens de brand.

Camson€ 58,83Dit openingsnummer werd geschreven na een vakantie in Zuid-Amerika, waarbij het horen van Latin en Rock de componist inspireerde tot een versmelting van beide. Het is vernoemd naar de neefjes van de componist Cameron en Mason. Vandaar de naam Camson.

Rhapsody in Black€ 101,23De inspiratie voor dit werk komt uit de eerste ontmoeting van het componist met het genre van Symphonic Metal – de openingstrack van het 2004 Nightwish album 'Once', getiteld Dark chest of Wonders. De combinatie van groot symfonisch orkest, vrouwelijke zang met opera invloeden en de ruwe kracht van een Scandinavische metal band was een krachtige mix die me onmiddellijk aantrok.

Stronghold€ 77,91Deze Zwitserse componist (°1971) speelde lange tijd bugel en principal cornet bij 'Ensemble de cuivres Valaisan' en begon in 2011 met componeren. Dit concertwerk bestaat uit drie aaneensluitende delen: Battle - Song - Dance.

The Promised Land€ 75,26'The Promised Land' (Het Beloofde Land) werd geschreven op verzoek van Jonathan Parton voor Lancaster University Brass Band. Het werk geeft vele solisten (bugel, horn, trombone, euphonium, Eb bas & cornet) de mogelijkheid om te pronken, tevens is het opgenomen door de 'County Brass of Lancaster'.

Excelsior - Fanfare...€ 42,00Excelsior was composed for the New Mills Band to mark the occasion of their 200th anniversary. It is a dramatic and emotive fanfare and theme based on the hymn tune 'Ransom'.
