Lode Violet heeft zijn werk "Sång till Norden" gecomponeerd voor het Galacondert van de Zweedse Brass Band kampioenschappen van 2015.
Deze compositie is gebaseerd op twee zinnen van het Zweedse volklied (Du Gamla, Du fria) die gebruikt worden doorheen het lied. De titel refereert naar de oorspronkelijke titel van het volklied en betekend Lied van het Noorden. -

A real crossover—the brass band plays Indian ragas and talas in this superbly innovative new concert finisher. Performance requires some note-bending, and features flugel and baritone cadenzas. There is a message of peace towards fellow human beings!
