Composers have long been interested in depicting train movement through music and Goldsmith is no exception – this dashing scherzo music bristles with excitement and energy and is intended to open the evening with a bang!

X-mas for Three€ 69,99David Well componeerde ‘X-mas for Three’ voor drie jeugdige leerlingen die een Kerstconcert wilden geven.
Hij bewerkte zes bekende kerstliederen voor hen en zij oogsten veel succes met hun eerste optreden. Dit was de reden voorde componist om het stuk geschikt te maken voor ‘orkest’ en voegde daarom percussie toe.De titel is gelijk gebleven en het stuk kan nog steeds met z’n drieën gespeeld worden maar met meer mag ook en dat is natuurlijk nog veelleuker.
‘X-mas for Three’ bestaat uit de volgende delen:
1. Oh du fröhliche
2. Kling, Glöckchen, kling
3. Gloria in excelsis deo
4. Joy to the world!
5. The first Noel
6. We wish you a MerryChristmas

Yo-ho, it's Christmas...€ 69,99Yo-ho, it's Christmas Time' zou zomaar een kreet uit de mond van de kerstman kunnen zijn.
David Well gebruikte het als titel voor dit driedelige werkje.
Als eerste klinkt het zeer bekende 'Jingle Bells', in een relaxte stijl,gevolgd door de gevoelige negro spiritual 'Mary had a Baby'. Als laatste klinkt 'We wish you a Merry Christmas'.
Dit deel begint met het bekende refrein. Hierna volgt het couplet én refrein in een gevarieerde maatsoort.Na het opvoeren van het tempo klinkt het refrein nog één keer in vliegende vaart.
