The piece is a test of skill, nerve and stamina, culminating in an aural ‘Blitz’ of great ferocity.

Just As I Am€ 48,84
Just as I am is a setting of the Charlotte Elliott poem of the same name. In effect it is a miniature tone poem though interestingly both times we hear the tune Heaton doesn’t include the final phrase. Thus it is a piece that could be said to leave questions rather than provide answers.
