The title of this march, Castle Park, refers to Castle Park in Ruthin, Denbighshire, where the composer first heard live brass bands when they played at the annual flower show in the late 1940s.

Circusdom€ 41,08
Frederick Jewell was a prolific composer of music for the circus in the early 20th century, producing over 100 marches and screamers. He was leader of the Ringling Brothers, Barnum and Bailey, Hagenbeck-Wallace and Sells-Floto circus bands during his career. Circusdom is one of his most popular marches, skilfully arranged for brass band by Bert Van Thienen.

A traditional concert march in league with the great marches composed by William Rimmer, Kenneth J Alford and George Allen. The name is taken from an area in Lancashire just north of Bury, Greater Manchester, not far from the composer's home.
