the Squealer€ 83,74William Lockwood Huff was een Amerikaans componist gekend voor zijn militaire marsen en deze circusmars 'The Squealer'. Voor een korte periode was hij muzikant in een circusorkest en bij 'The National guards' waar hij cornet en althoorn speelde. Dit soort 'screamers' werden het meest gecomponeerd tussen 1895 and 1955. Circussen hadden nood aan opzwepende muziek om hun publiek gek te maken!
