Brother Devil - Overture. "An exciting addition to any program. The arrangement is unfussy and laid out very well indeed, with few technical demands and plenty for everyone to do. It is playable by most bands, with a little work".
John Maines - The British Bandsman.

    Persian March Opus 289
    €42.50

This work has an exotic flavour, thanks to the use of Middle Eastern twists in the melodic writing. It has a steady speed of 88 minutes to the minute and this, allied with the generally mid-range pitch of all the parts, would enable any level of band (including junior bands) to easily master the technicalities. John Clifford's arrangement is good.
Philip Harper - Brass Band World.
