Poème Symphonique€276.00The work was written for the World Music Competition in Kerkrade as a compulsory work for the 1st division fanfare in the 1989 edition, and for a long time was only available as an original fanfare work. Since then it has remained a very appealing composition for the Brass and wind music audience, not only because of the exciting progression of the piece, but also because of its special compositional approach.
As is often the case with popular works, a version for concert band was also regularly hinted at in this work. It is quite common knowledge that Rob Goorhuis does not like to write in a HAFABRA mode. His works generally only exist in one setting, the original, for the orchestral form for which it was conceived. However, Rob Goorhuis has devoted himself to a completely new version, which does justice to the color palette of the concert band. The flexibility of the woodwinds gives an extra dimension to the new work thus created.

SWITCH€82.95Switch is an accessible work with an angle from light music. The title already suggests that there will be a switche. That is the case on several fronts. First of all, the imaginary "light music button" can be turned on within a Wind Band or Fanfare as soon as there is a light work on the music stand.
Within the work, a swing feel alternates with a straight feel. This is a hard switch in play style and experience. In addition, there are large dynamic differences.

Bright Future€78.00The composition 'Bright Future' was written as a prize for Fanfare 'Kunst Na Arbeid' Hierden (conducted by Arno Groeneveld) for their victory in the 4th division at the Open Dutch Fanfare Championships (ONFK) in 2023.The commissioner's wish was to create a contrasting work, combining march-like gestures with chorale-like sounds within a contemporary idiom.The contrasting theme serves as a metaphor for innovative paths the band has taken in recent times in order to achieve a positive and clear future perspective.The title (provided by the band) originated from this idea. In addition, the work contains a proud and maestoso character, to refer to the band's victory at the Open Dutch Fanfare Championships 2023.

A Choral for a Solemn...€77.50A composition, in the melodious key of E flat major, in solemn and sacred mood; the theme is somewhat related to the main theme from the Michael's Symphony. A Choral for a Solemn Occasion is a very well-liked piece by Concert Bands and Fanfare Orchestras, and is one of the most played pieces of the composer.
