Eilean nan Gobhar€80.00Acoustic Sketch is a piece for Brass Band and Carillon. The piece is build on the overtones of a fundamental, resulting in an acoustic scale. The idea is that these tones are audible in a bell of the carillon. The chords used in the band try to mimic this sound quality.
It is possible to play this work with chimes and bells.

The fanfare theme, as well as the choral theme, are based on the first four notes of the Kyrië from the Missa de Angelis (F-A-Bb-C).
