"EN" was one of the pieces nominated for the Fodens Richardson Award 2004. "EN" is a Japanese word for feast. Sachi Uchida: "My father was critically ill when I decided to write this piece. Some sad melodys came up on my mind. But because I wished him well, I wrote this cheerful tune and added the word "paradoxically".
