A Letter Home€41.50A Letter Home was composed for Kirsty Abbotts and the Carlton Main Frickley Colliery Band for their opening set at the 2014 Brass in Concert Championships, held at the Sage Centre in Gateshead.
The music isn't the setting of the text, but is inspired by a select of the words of much cherished World War I poet, Siegfried Sassoon's poem of the same name.

A Choral for a Solemn...€77.50A composition, in the melodious key of E flat major, in solemn and sacred mood; the theme is somewhat related to the main theme from the Michael's Symphony. A Choral for a Solemn Occasion is a very well-liked piece by Concert Bands and Fanfare Orchestras, and is one of the most played pieces of the composer.

A Festival Choral€79.14This hymn was written for Festival Brass Band. It takes the band's note names (F - Eb - Bb - As) and incorporates them into a melodic theme that floats through the piece. The harmonic colours are also derived from these notes.
