The Last Night of Fall€61.00This beautiful chorale for Brass Band illustrates the winter solstice, the longest night of the year. Describing the end of nature's cycle, it has a rather melancholic character until the final chord which symbolises the new beginning. This contemplative work is ideal for creating a moment of tranquillity during a concert, and is also suitable as a warm-up piece.

Skilfully arranged now as an Eb Tuba solo (with an Euphonium solo part as an alternative option), this is a chance for your band’s tuba player to show the instruments in a new light, not often seen on the concert stage.

A Letter Home€41.50A Letter Home was composed for Kirsty Abbotts and the Carlton Main Frickley Colliery Band for their opening set at the 2014 Brass in Concert Championships, held at the Sage Centre in Gateshead.
The music isn't the setting of the text, but is inspired by a select of the words of much cherished World War I poet, Siegfried Sassoon's poem of the same name.
