Composed by Tchaikovsky in 1875-76, it was first performed in 1877 at the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow, but was a complete failure. Bright Future€78.00The composition 'Bright Future' was written as a prize for Fanfare 'Kunst Na Arbeid' Hierden (conducted by Arno Groeneveld) for their victory in the 4th division at the Open Dutch Fanfare Championships (ONFK) in 2023.The commissioner's wish was to create a contrasting work, combining march-like gestures with chorale-like sounds within a contemporary idiom.The contrasting theme serves as a metaphor for innovative paths the band has taken in recent times in order to achieve a positive and clear future perspective.The title (provided by the band) originated from this idea. In addition, the work contains a proud and maestoso character, to refer to the band's victory at the Open Dutch Fanfare Championships 2023.
