Oorspronkelijk werd dit zeer bekende lied van Adolphe Adam gearrangeerd voor Bes-instrument en fanfare-orkest. Toch is het zeer goed mogelijk om een zanger of zangeres in de schijnwerpers te zetten. De tekst wordt daarom bijgeleverd. Dit werk is zeer geschikt als rustpunt in uw concertprogramma.

Acoustic Sketch is a piece for Brass Band and Carillon. The piece is build on the overtones of a fundamental, resulting in an acoustic scale. The idea is that these tones are audible in a bell of the carillon. The chords used in the band try to mimic this sound quality.
It is possible to play this work with chimes and bells.
