Salute€ 91,16'Salute' is geschreven voor Nico Meylemans en de Koninklijke Fanfare Moed & Volharding uit Heist-op-den-Berg. Het werk herdenkt alle oorlogsslachtoffers uit Heist-op-den-Berg die sneuvelden tijdens Wereldoorlog I. Het eresaluut is een teken van respect voor de gesneuvelden, het bekende 'Last Post' thema zit dan ook in het stuk verwerkt.

Klassieke componisten als Benjamin Britten en John Rutter maakten arrangementen voor zang, piano en strijkers.
